Fresh Produce Shipping Terms

How Should I Ship Fresh Spices/Produce?

If you're shipping to an address outside of the following states: CA, WA, OR, UT, or NV, please choose UPS 2nd Day Air as your shipping level in the online cart to insure product arrives in good condition.

We will not reimburse for losses of fresh items shipped by UPS Ground or UPS 3 Day Select if your ship to address is more then 2 business days from Los Angeles (zip code 91605). In the cooler months it may be possible to send fresh items by UPS Ground but you do so at your own risk. Please see the UPS Time-in-Transit Map for more details.

To save on shipping charges, may we suggest for larger orders, to separate your order into 2 orders: perishable (ship by 2nd Day Air) and non-perishable (ship by Ground). To do so, simply order online two times.

When Will I Get My Fresh Spices/Produce Order?

To insure that the freshest product possible arrives to you, we ship fresh produce only on Mondays (or the first business day of the week if this is a holiday) and Wednesdays. In the holiday months (November, December and January) we will also ship on Tuesdays. Fresh items arrive only once a week to our location in LA, so please allow extra time for processing when ordering fresh items.

If you choose 2nd Day Air, note that we do not make any promises that your order will be considered a rush delivery. If you need your order by a certain date please make a note in the 'comments section' of our online shopping cart and we will do our best to accommodate you. We will contact you via e-mail if it is not possible for your order to arrive to you by your desired date (please make sure your e-mail address is correct!). Also note that delivery via UPS 2nd Day Air for fresh items does not permit delivery on Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays or holidays, so please plan accordingly.
