IMPORTANT: Please read this entire page if you need your order by a certain date or if you are ordering perishable (fresh and frozen) items to insure timely delivery to you.
YOUR UPS TRACKING NUMBER: If you have not received your UPS tracking number within 3 business days of ordering, please contact us for your tracking information (please first check your email provider's junk/spam folder, as UPS.com emails are not getting through to free email accounts).
HOW TO CALCULATE WHEN AN ITEM WILL BE DELIVERED
When planning for an event or party don't forget to include time for both processing and UPS time in transit. Also see notes below about PERISHABLE ITEMS and RUSH DELIVERY.
You can calculate when an item will be delivered by simply adding the shipping availability time displayed on each product's detail page ("Usually ships within 2-3 business days" for example) to the number of days your shipping method will take. Here's the simple equation:
Shipping Availability Time + UPS Time in Transit = Total Delivery Time
Example: If an item with a shipping availability message of "Usually ships within 2-3 days" is sent via UPS SECOND DAY AIR (2 business days), it will arrive in approximately 5 business days. But please be advised that orders with PERISHABLE ITEMS may require extra time for processing. Please make a note if you need your order by a certain date in the 'comments section' of the online checkout or send us an email after placing your order.
Shipping Availability Time
Usually we fill your order within 2 business days, but sometimes we need more time. If there is a delay longer than 5 business days we will e-mail you to give you the option to ship your order immediately without some item(s) or to hold it until everything becomes available.
UPS Time in Transit
We offer 3 shipping options from our location in Los Angeles (91605):
*UPS Ground
UPS Ground time in transit is shown in business days on the map here: UPS Time in Transit Map. For example if a package is shipped on Monday it will arrive the following week in most of New York state (5 business days in transit) but by Friday to New York City (4 business days in transit).
*UPS 2nd Day Air®
UPS Second Day Air arrives in two business days except in some locations (please see the UPS website if you live in a rural area for more details). Choosing UPS Second Day Air shipping does not insure that you will be receiving your order within a few days. Please see How to Calculate When an Item Will Be Delivered above for more details.
*UPS 3 Day SelectSM
UPS Three Day Select arrives in three business days except in some locations (please see the UPS website if you live in a rural area for more details). Choosing UPS Three Day Select does not guarantee that you will receive your order in 3 days. Please see How to Calculate When an Item Will Be Delivered above for more details.

NOTE: Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays observed by UPS. For more exact details regarding time in transit see the UPS website where you can input your zip code for delivery and use our ship from zip 91605 to calculate days in transit. We normally ship fresh produce items on Mondays and Wednesdays only so that these highly perishable items are not in transit over the weekend. In peak season (before and after Christmas) we also ship these items on Tuesdays. Please also include time for order processing. Insure that your email address is correct, so that we can contact you if necessary. We do not ship overnight. Special Situations
Weather, natural disasters, and other events beyond our control may affect shipping and delivery times. If conditions are serious and expected to last longer than a brief period of time, special instructions may be added to the checkout pages.
WHAT OUR SHIPPING MESSAGES MEAN
The shipping message on the Temple of Thai web site (e.g. Usually within 2-3 business days.) tells you how quickly products are expected to be ready to leave our warehouses. Please note that our shipping messages do not indicate when items will arrive at their final destination - only when items are expected to be packed and ready to leave the warehouse.
After you have placed your order, we will send you an email with your order summary. Once your order is shipped, we will send you an email confirming that it is on its way to you.
The total time it will take to receive an item is determined by adding the time shown in its shipping message to the number of days your shipping method will take.

HOW TO DETERMINE COST OF SHIPPING
The UPS rates are calculated 'live' from the UPS web site based on both the product weight (and for large items, the dimensions) and distance (zone) from our warehouses to your ship to location. We also add a handling fee of $1.75 to these rates to cover the cost of the packaging materials.
To quickly and easily calculate the total shipping amount due, simply add the items to the online shopping cart that you wish to purchase and enter in your shipping address (no need to enter in any credit card data). You can use this method to calculate your total costs without needing to contact us.
If you would like to order offline you may also email or fax us your shopping list and quantities desired, along with your shipping address for a shipping cost quote. Alternatively, you may call toll free and leave a voice message (with your email address if possible) so we can provide you with a shipping quote. See Methods of Ordering for more details.
UPS ADDRESS CORRECTION FEE
Please be sure to provide your correct shipping address (including apartment number, etc). If an address correction is required to deliver your package, UPS charges an Address Correction Fee of $12.00 for Ground packages and $13 for Air and International packages. By ordering on our site, you agree to pay this fee if you provide the wrong address or if you change the shipping address after your package has been shipped. This charge will be billed separately to the credit card used for your order.
UNDELIVERABLE OR REFUSED PACKAGES
UPS charges a return shipping fee when a package must be returned to shipper. You agree to pay this fee if the package is refused by the customer or returned to our warehouse due to insufficient or incorrect addresses.
